Part-time Teacher to serve the unique position of 3/4th grade Language Arts and Middle School Student Council Advisor (can be one of these or both)

​EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Hold or have the ability to obtain a Washington Teaching License.

K-8 Music Teacher/Chapel Director

A part-time instructor/chapel director for fundamental music to perform essential teaching duties, assuring that the mission of the school is supported. Models a servant’s heart and promotes an attitude of respect, teamwork and professionalism; supporting our school; praying for and with other faculty and staff; encouraging others in Godly living and excellence through music.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Teach each class music once per week

2. Create music schedules

3. Plan programs in winter and spring

4. Coordinate singing outings of service for lower elementary students

5. Assist in planning special /all-school events with music

6. Plan weekly chapels (with support of faculty)

7. Assist in planning and implementing yearly themes

JOB REQUIREMENT QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Profess a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord

2. Maintain a positive Christian testimony

3. Be involved in a local church of like faith and practice, consistent with the ECS Statement of Faith

4. Agree with and adhere to the employee handbook

5. Strong communication skills

6. Able to use technology

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:​  Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of credentials.
